Gavin DeGraw Concert

I heard last week that Gavin DeGraw was coming to town. I decided that since I had to give up my tickets to both John Mayer and Sting and the Police this summer that I needed to go. The show was at a small venue in Murray, so I was a little scared that I would not be able to get tickets. Fourtunatly. I was able to score a couple, so I got me a date and I went. I was not really sure what to expect from Gavin in a live performance setting. I have to say that I was very impressed. He put on a killer show. I had kind of expected him to be a little subdued and pensive. He was none of the above. It was cool to see him go from guitar to piano to just singing. His band was really good and he even had some sweet dance moves. It ended up being one of the better concerts that I have seen in a while and I am really glad that it was in such a intimate venue. Here are a couple photos and a video clip from the show.

Gavin and his band.

This is the whole group that went. From left: Preston, Daysha, Lane, Ashley. Jaremy, Dani, PJ, Becca, Bailee, Ben.

The best part about this clip is that you can hear Ashley's super sweet Xena warrior princess cry.
