BYU Bound?

My last entry mentioned that I had auditioned for BYU's Young Ambassadors. Well, I am pleased to announce that I made the group. It is now dependent on whether or not I get accepted to BYU as a student. I filled out my application, got my interviews and wrote some appeal letters and on Tuesday I submitted all the parts of the application. Because my application is several weeks late it will have to pass before the addmissions board and they will make a disicion on whether or not they will accept me. The dean of the school and the director of the group both wrote me strong endorsments to go along with my letter of appeal. The director believes that with my GPA, extra curricular activities, and the solid endorsments that I should have no problem getting accepted. I will probably know for sure at the end of the week. Making the group really wasnt something that I had planned on, but will be an experience that will take me down a new path in life. One full of opportunity and fun. To tell the truth it this opportunity was completly unexpected but when I evaluate it I find it is something I have been preparing for my whole life.
